Language Assistant in a Chinese School, requirement for a visa?

Hi, I have been offered a place as a language assistant in a school in China. What are the requirements for an entry permit? I would be working with the school for a year.

Alan, you will apply for a business M type? If yes, the required documents can be as follows:
1. Your passport and its copy
2. The filled-out application form attached with a passport-sized color photo taken recently
3. An invitation letter from the school.
However, as you know, you will work for a year in PRC, so I have a doubt that you are sure that you will apply for a business M type? Personally, I think you may need a work Z type.
