Hello,I will be in there this weekend. I will arrive at the airport. I am wondering, is it safe for a solo female traveller to travel by taxi from airport to city center? I have read a lot about taxi scam there.And also, are the taxi metered by law?

It is very important to be sure to take note of safety for solo female traveller. You can take taxi in Kunming, but please make sure the taxis are all licenced ones and remember to ask driver use meter. The taxis are metered by law.
