Travel to Wuzhen From Shanghai One day Trip

Hi, i was planing to pay a visit to Wuzhen and zhouzhuang during my visit to shanghai, i have limited time in shanghai, thats why i planed a one day trip to Wuzhen and Zhouzhuang from Shanghai, Kindly advice is it possible from me to travel to the both place in the early morning from shanghai and return in the evening. if yes, could you advice on the transportation from shanghai to Wuzhen and zhou zhuang.

I don't think it is possible to visit both Wuzhen and Zhouzhuang within one day as the transportation between these places is not very convenient. Wuzhen and Zhouzhuang are all water towns, it is no need to visit both of them in a day. From Shanghai, you can take bus at Shanghai Intercity Bus Terminal(no. 1666, Zhongxing Road) to Zhouzhuang and the journey takes around 2 hours. From Shanghai to Wuzhen, you may take bus at Shanghai South Bus Terminal(no. 666 Shilong Road) and the journey takes about 2 hours.

I prefer to travel to Zhou zhuang as previous comment mentioned zhouzhuang is the number one water town in China =)
