feb 20 - 22: hk - guangzhou - hk ; feb 22 - 26: hk - shanghai - hk.

Question

I fly from HK to Guangzhou on Feb 20, fly back to HK on Feb 22 and the same day I fly to Shanghai  from HK and return to HK on Feb 26. I hold a French passport. Do I qualify for 72-hours free Transit in Guangzhou and 144-hours free Transit in Shanghai (China exit and entry the same day)?

Jean, the 72 hour free transit is not applicable to your transit in Guangzhou because according to the policy, after transiting in Guangzhou, you shouldn’t fly back to HK, but a third region or country. In the same case, you don’t qualify for the 144 hour policy, either.
