About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Is that okay for the 72 hour visa in Chengdu.

I fly from San Francisco to Chengdu. I arrive Tuesday evening (8pm).
I fly out from Chengdu to Tokyo, Japan on Thursday morning
