About:Chinese Consulates in Brazil

Lithuanian citizen apply for chinese visa in Brazil

Hello, I am Lithuanian citizen and at the moment I am in Brazil. Is it possible to make PRC entry permit here in Brazil ?

I would like to make M (business) type here, if it possible.
When I called Chinese embassy in Brasilia they told me they are not 100%sure, so I need to m=come and check. But usually Chinese visa person can make almost everywhere in the world, so I was wondering if Brazilian government will let me to do if I do not have Brazilian residence.
