Best Hotel booking option for 3 nights in the Jiuzhaigou Valley

Hi, we are arriving in Jiuzhaigou on the 25th March in the afternoon and leaving on the 28th to Chengdu by bus. I would like to know if it is best to book a hotel in Jiuzhaigou for the 3 nights or instead just for the first night and stay in other places in the region for the 2nd and 3rd night, depending if it can be a better option to see well the Jiuzhaigou Valley.
