About:Shanghai Transportation

location of hotel in shanghai.

How to go to 24 k inernational hotel 555 fuzhou road from peoples square subway station. Which exit to come out and which road and lane to follow? Are the names of street and lane are written in English?

Hi, you can leave from exit 2 of the metro station and cross the street to Fuzhou Road. Then walk east along the road for around 700yd to find your hotel (near Middle Zhejiang Road) on the right side. And yes, the streets and lanes are marked both in Chinese and English, so you can find your way.

Dear Ruby, thank you for your kind reply. Two things - 1. On Google earth it appears that exit 15 or 14 of people's square subway station are nearer to the fuzhou road.
2. How to know the east direction at 10 in the night?
3. Can I show the hotel voucher, on which the hotel name is written in mandarin, to someone and ask the direction? 4. Is there any risk of falling in wrong hand?
Please help me

1. Well, I've checked on the map. The exit 2 of People's Square Station is actually the nearest one.
2. Generally speaking, the road signs have marked directions. You can find the right direction easily.
3. Yes, you can show the Chinese hotel name and ask other people. It's '上海24K国际连锁酒店 (南京东路步行街店)'.
4. You don't need to worry about the safety problem. In addition, you can dial 021-51503588 to contact the hotel staff. They can provide some necessary help. :)
