Travelling to China first time

Hello! I will be travelling to China soon, but it's my first time going there so I am a bit uncertain about some stuff...

To my understanding I need to provide :
- My passport
- Copy of the information-page on my passport
- Correctly filled visa application
- An image of myself with the resolution 33x48 (and passport quality) fixed to the application
- Receipt for my hotels
- Receipt for my plane tickets

Do I miss anything here? I do not have anything booked for the different cities, so I can't include any information here, will that be a problem?
