how long does it take to get to city center of guangzhou?

Hello we are will be in transit for arriving on a Saturday at 6:20 and leaving the same day at 14:30 .  Do you think we will have enough time to go to the city center and back without missing our onward flight? If the answer is yes i expect that the best bet is the metro line 3. How long will this take and which is the best station to get off?

To be honest, you don't have enough time to tour around many places in downtown area. But it's ok for you to go to Haizhu Plaza (one of the busiest commercial areas). There are many nice restaurants and shopping malls. You can go and see. About the transportation, yes, you can take subway line 3 at airport and get to Jiage Wanggang Station. Then transfer to line 2 to Haizhu Plaza. The duration is about 40 mins. In addition, you are suggested to go back to the airport 1.5 to 2 hours in advance.
