special entrance for the qixian valley

I am doing a day tour to Mianshan mountain coming from Pingyao with a private driver. I am especially interested in seeing the Qixian Valley. Is there any Kind of Special entrance I have to take or will I get to that place automatically from the main entrance. Somehow I cannot find a online guide about getting along at the mountain. Where are the cable cars going? For what are the Elevators? Any idea if there is any Kind of online guidane how to get along on the mountain for a day?

Well, you can get to te valley from the main entrance. You may find an online virtual guide at the official website of the mountain. But it is in Chinese, so you may ask your Chinese friends to explain it for you. The cable car goes up to Dragon Backbone Ridge (Longji Ridge) and Lord Jie Ridge (Jiegong Ridge). You can take an elevator up to these scenic spots. Have a nice trip!
