Hi, I arrive at 18:30 and my next flight (China Eastern to Huai'an) departs Hongqiao at 21:50. Does anyone has any experience with China Eastern? I will only have carry on luggage and I hope to check in online. What time do I need to be at Hongqiao and will I have enough time?Thanks! :)

Oh, I had experiences with China Eastern Airline. If you buy the interline tickets, you won't worry about the transfer time. And nearly 3 hours time is enough. Generally speaking, passengers are suggested to arrive at the airport 1.5 to 2 hours in advance. According to your situation, the time 18:30 would be the traffic peak times in downtown. So you can avoid taking shuttle bus. Take Maglev Train to get to Longyang Road Station. Then transfer to subway line 2 to Hongqiao Airport directly. The whole way takes around 50 mins.
