About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

22 hrs layover with free transit hotel

I am coming from Manila to New York with layover of 22hrs & 20mins in Beijing Intl Airport (PEK). Airline will provided me a free transit hotel outside the airport. What permit do i need ? Can i also avail the 72hrs free transit?

Gi, you are not eligible for the 72 hour free transit because of your nationality, but you qualify for the 24 hour direct transit. In this case, you just need to apply for a temporary stay permit at the airport and then you can stay at the hotel outside the airport.
