Maximum duration of stay per visit for Visitor visa

For many of the other entry permits it appears that you can only stay in China for a maximum of 60 days per visit. Is this also the case if you are visiting a foreigner working there?

Vanessa, it depends, if you are family member of the foreign working in PRC and you enter with S type, you may obtain a maximum duration of stay for more than 60 days after each entry. But, no one can assure that because the consular officers have the final say.
