About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

Flying from Auckland to Colombo via Shanghai. transit 8 hours, do i need to apply transit visa?

I am sri lankan passport holder. Thank you..

Saroj, you are eligible for the 24 hour direct transit, so you don’t need it. But if you want to leave the airport, you need to apply for a temporary stay permit at the airport and it is free.
