About:Beijing Taxi

Taxi to Shanhaiguan from beijing airport

The long distance bus from Capital airport to Qinhuangdao is 140 rmb per person. If we are five persons, would it not be cheaper to order a cab at the airport? What is the price? Can it be ordered beforehand?

To be honest, it won't be easy to get an official taxi because of the long-distance. And one regular taxi only can accept four passengers. So you are suggested to hire a mini van at the airport directly. As I know, the fare is CNY 1,000 to 1,500 for the single trip. According to this fare, taking long-distance bus at the airport is an more economical way.

Oh, it is expensive if by taking a taxi or hiring a car.
You can take airport shuttle bus line 3 to get to Main Railway Station first. It costs CNY 24 per person. Then transfer to bullet train to arrive at Shanhaiguan Railway Station. The duration is nearly 3 hours. Second class seat costs CNY92.5 per person.
