About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Access from Hong Kong to the mainland

If our plane lands in Hong Kong can we access the mainland for 72 hours without a visa? Or are we required to get one if traveling by land from Hong Kong?

Thank you,
Matt

Matt, sorry, I’m afraid you cannot enjoy the 72 hour transit to mainland PRC by land from HK. You should apply for a relevant entry permit in advance of your trip.
