About:Chinese Embassies and Consulates

Work under a S2 Visa

If I obtain a teaching position in China and my dependents (to include my husband) come with me-they get S2 type, once we are there, we get Chinese Temporary Residence permit? Could my husband work under a S2 type or does he need to get a work Z type like me...?

Audrey, you can get a temporary residence permit while your husband cannot because he is just holding an S2 type. If he need to work in PRC, he should also get a Z type.
