About:Four Great Inventions of Ancient China
How did the creation of paper spread?
For example, was it because of the silk road or did traders buy it and spread it around?

Abby, I am afraid not. I read something interesting. It's said that paper was introduced "accidentally" to Arab first. In 751, Tang armies fought with Arab's army in Talas. Unfortunately, Tang's army was defeated so that parts of the soldiers were captured and taken to Bagdad. Some of them were able to make paper. Then Arabs mastered how to make paper. Later, it was introduced to Morocco, Spain, Italy and France.

I think because people started going to China and soon discover paper so they brought it back to their country and so it spread.
