About:China Visa on Arrival

Indian passport holder can get on arrival visa for shanghai or not ?

I want to visit shanghai. i am indian student studying in philippines. I have vacation in april so if VOA available i will book my flight from philippines to shanghai and shanghai to india.

Devani, as you mentioned, you will book a flight from the Philippines to Shanghai and then to India, so if your stay in Shanghai is not more than 24 hours, you can enjoy the 24h free transit policy. If the time is longer, you need to apply for a G type transit permit in advance. The VOA is hard to get if you are not in an emergency.
