About:How to Choose China Train Ticket Types?

Shanghai to Xian and Xian to Beijing

We plan to travel overnight on April 15th (1st journey) and April 20th (2nd journey) are their luxury soft sleepers on both these trips? If not what is the 2nd best option? How much do the seats cost? When do we need to book them? We are a pensioner couple.

There is luxury soft sleeper type on both train. For the first trip to Xian, the cost for luxury sleeper bed is CNY9415.5/USD146. This is for a normal overnight type and also one overnight high speed type with luxury soft sleeper bed, the price is much higher like CNY1670/USD259. For the second trip to Beijing, the luxury sleeper bed is CNY815.5/USD126.
