Invitation Letter-New passport

Hello,

I have been issued an Invitation letter from the government for visa purposes. However, I need to renew my passport as it expires in couple of months. My question is, is my Invitation letter still valid if I present both passports, even though it has my old passport's number?

Anja, I think your understanding is right. Your invitation letter is still valid and you can submit both passports to prove that the invitation letter is for you, even though the pasport number is different from your new passport.
