Train tickets Shanghai to Suzhou

I am arriving at PVG on March 19 (saturday). I would like to go to Suzhou by train from SH Railway Station. Can I buy the train ticket at the airport? I heard that there is always a very long queue at the Raiway Station, is this true?

Well, actually, you don't need to take the train. There is a more convenient way for you to choose.
Upon landing, you can take direct coach to arrive at Suzhou. The bus schedules are from 9:30 to 21:00 with the frequency of 30 mins. It takes around 3 hours on the way. You can just buy the bus tickets at the airport.
If insist, you can buy the ticket at the airport. Yes, there is usually a long queue at the railway station.

Thank you, Emily. The coach trip is taking too long and we do not like to sit in a bus for another 3 hrs after flying.
So do you mean that there is a “火车票代售点" at the airport?
Can a foreigner buy train tickets at the airport (for train to Suzhou)?

As I know, there is no official Train Ticket Outlets inside the airport. So you may need to to buy the tickets at the railway station. Or you can book the train ticket in advance and pick it up upon arrival at the station. TravelChinaGuide provides online booking service. You can ask help for them. If interested, their contact information is booking@travelchinaguide.com
