Do I need a visa to enter China? I am currently on vacation in Singapore and I plan to visit PRC together with my brother who is living in Malaysia. In case we both need to apply an entry permit to enter PRC, can we apply our entry permit at the Chinese Embassy in Singapore? I will be in Singapore till 27/March. I only need a traveling L type entry permit for 1 week to go to China. Why can't I apply in Singapore?It takes how long to process the L type?For my brother he can apply in Malaysia. Pls let me know where is the embassy in Malaysia? Temporary visitors to Singapore should apply for a Chinese entry permit in their own country. It usually takes 4 working days. You can apply for it at the CVASC in Kuala Lumpur or Kuching according to where you live in Malaysia. I’m afraid he cannot get his L type on the same days, even the rush service takes 2 working days.
