Renmin Road, Kunming

Hi,
I am staying near the Meichen department store on Renmen Road. We are two people. Is it better to take a taxi to the Subway and then take the Subway to the airport or is it better to take the shuttle bus? If we were to take the shuttle bus which one is the closest to us?
