Do I need apply for Chinese transit visa?

Hi I'm polish passport holder. I'm traveling from UK to Burma, transit in Beijing.

Malgorzata, if you transit in Beijing for less than 72 hours and you fly in and fly out by air, you don’t need to apply for a transit G type because you are eligible for the 72 hour free transit. But if it’s more than 72 hours, I’m afraid you need to apply for one in advance.
