About:Shanghai Pudong Airport

I have a 6 hour stopover in Shanghai can I collect my bags and go outside then check in again?

I `m flying in on Qantas and then 6 hours later taking Air France both from terminal 1 I think, can I check my baggage only then collect my baggage and then visit the city and come back and checkin again.?

Will you land at PVG?
If yes, you can collect luggage and recheck them after visiting the city.
The correct transfer procedures are International Arrival Access - Boarding Pass - Quarantine - Immigration - International Luggage Claim - Arrival Hall - Go to 3rd Floor For Boarding.
Notably, 6 hours are too tight to tour around scenic areas. You are suggested to stay at the airport.
