best way to spend two days on yellow mountain

We would be arriving with overnight train from shanghai to Huangshan train station. We will have our big and heavy luggage with us. What will be the best way to spend those two days? To get the hotel at the bottom (which area should we be staying at), leave the luggage and go for a walk up the mountains the first day and take the cable lift/car back down? and if we will manage to do it in one day what to do the other? or you cannot do it in one day? All the help and advices are highly appreciated.

Well, most tourists spare two days for the mountain. The best way is to leave your luggage at the Xinguoxian Interchange Bus Station at the foot of the mountain. Next, start hiking or take a cable car up. Then, spend the first night at a hotel on the mountain top. Afterwards, enjoy the sunrise the next morning. Finally, climb or take a cable car down the mountain after sightseeing. For accommodation, you may consider Shilin Hotel. It is near the upper stations of Yungu Cableway and Taiping Cableway. Also, it is an ideal place to view the sunrise. :)
