About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

114 hour policy already in effect in March?

In your summary, you write "Recently, the policy is going to be expanded. Passengers transiting in Shanghai, Jiangsu and Zhejiang can stay for up to 114 hours."
"Is going to be expanded" sounds like this is not implemented yet. We are planning to travel to Shanghai in early March. I couldn't find information on this new policy anywhere else. Will the 114 hours already apply in March?

Andrea, yeah, the 114 hour policy hasn’t been carried out at present. I cannot tell you for sure it will be implemented in March or not. You should pay close attention to the latest news.
