About:China Transit Visa

I am travelling to Vancouver by China Southern airline, transit at Guangzhou Baiyun airport.

I will reach Guangzhou airport at 10.00 pm and connecting to vancouver the next day 2.00pm (a 16 hours stop). Do I need to apply for a transit visa if I am going to stay one night in Guangzhou, Baiyun.

Hi there, you don’t need to apply for a transit G type. If you want to leave the airport and check in at a hotel in Guangzhou, you just need to apply for a temporary stay permit at the airport and it’s free of charge.
