About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Transfer at Beijing

Hello,

I am flying London-Beijing-Auckland and then Auckland-Beijing-London.

1. I stop in Beijing for 8 hours. I have Latvian and Russian passports. Can I come out visa free during that time?

2. I have permanent residency in NZ but it is electronic and not physically present in my passport. Do I need to obtain any documents to have no issues to come out in Beijing?

Thanks

Viktoriya, you don’t need an entry permit to enter PRC because you are eligible for the 24 hour direct transit.
You mean you want to leave the airport and have a tour in Beijing? If so, you just need to apply for a temporary stay permit at the airport and it’s free of charge.
The permanent residency in NW isn’t needed.
