About:Apply for China Visa in a Third Country

I am going to be travelling in South East Asia and May wish to travel into china on an l visa.

Would I be able to apply for the L type whilst on my travels in South East Asia?

Yes, you can apply for it in nearby countries. The entry permit to the country where you submit the application will be required for submission.
