About:Marriage Registration in China

Marriage registration in China

Hello, me and my husband just get married and we are both foreigners here in PRC, after we signed everything the woman gave us our 2 book marriage certificate, where in PRC should we go to register our marriage so our country would acknowledge it, or what would be the next step.

Dear, usually, you should first have your marriage certificate notarized at the local notary office in PRC and then go to the embassy of Philippines to have the notarized marriage certificate authenticated. After that, your country will acknowledge it. If you have any doubts, you can go to the embassy of Philippines to consult and know about more details.
