About:Tiger Leaping Gorge (Hutiao Gorge)

Lijiang - Tiger Leaping Gorge - Shangri-la in 1day

Is possible to take bus in the morning to the gorge, touring around (not hike), then take a bus in the gorge to Shangri-la?

Yes, it is feasible. You may catch a bus to Hutiaoxia (Qiaotou) from LJ Passenger Transport Station at no. 25, Kangzhong Road, Gucheng District. Then, you can take a taxi to the gorge for about CNY 40-50. After touring around, you need to take a taxi back to Qiaotou Town, and catch a bus to Shangri-la. Have a nice trip!
