Work Premit for IT profession

Hi,

This is Manoj from India. I am planning to work in china as IT profession. Could you please guide me how to processed and what are the documents required.

In how many months i will get PR in China?

Manoj, you should first find a company to employer and then ask the employer get the work permit and invitation letter from duly authorized unit for you. With these two documents, you also need to provide your passport and its copy, the application form affixed with a bareheaded color photo taken recently. Afterwards, submit your application to the embassy of PRC to apply for the work Z type. When you enter with work Z type, you need to apply for a residence permit in PRC.
Chinese permanent residence is very difficult to get. I don’t think you can get it at present, after a few months or even after few years.
