Hello ,So I have Algerian paspsort and Ukrainian Residance permanent, I would like to fly to China to Assist to a meeting  there, So do I Obligatory require an Inviitation letter ??? as I think its depende Country passport Holder right , and if yes I require it can be Scan Copy  Also regarding My Sister she would likes to visit Hong Kong as Tourist ,so tell me please which type of Visa she need ,also needed documents and fee Waiting your quick reply Best RegardsKarim

Karim, I think you need to apply for a business M type and an invitation letter from the meeting organizer should be provided. Scan copy is okay. As for HK entry permit, if your sister holds Algerian passport, she can enjoy free entry to HK for a stay of no more than 14 days. But if she wants to stay there for more than 14 days or she doesn’t hold Algerian passport, she should apply for visit type and she needs to provide her passport and copy of its data page, the application form with a recently-taken passport-sized color photo glued, her financial support proof, transportation arrangement and travel itinerary to HK. It usually charges HKD190.
