How many phone can I bring with me to the airplane?

The problem that i want to ask is that, can i bring two of my old cell phone (smartphone) to the airplane back to China. I want to give them to my nieces. But do i have to declare that i'm going to bring two old cellphone to the airplane with me? (they will be shut down)
