About:Chinese Embassy in U.S.A.

Mexican Passport holder working under TN visa in USA. Can I apply for a Chinese L type from the US?

I am looking to apply for a PRC Tourist L type entry permit. I hold a Mexican Passport yet I am under a valid TN, working in Boston. I was wondering if I could apply for the L type here in the US, if so what process should I follow? Thank you

Andrea, you can apply in US and you should submit your application to the consulate general of PRC in New York. The first thing is to prepare the required materials including the application form attached with a recently-taken passport-sized color photo, your passport and copy of its data page, your valid residence permit or work permit in USA, as well as hotel reservation and round trip air tickets. Next, submit your application and wait for the result.

You can renew it at the consulate general of PRC. Can I know where you live in USA? In this way, I can tell you which consulate general you should go to renew it.
