About:Foreign Consulates in Hong Kong

hong kong visa for my laos girlfriend who live in thailand and want to go for 3 days holiday

my laos girlfriend who live in Thailand, want to go for 3 days to HK (Disney world) holiday. Is VOA possible?

Eduard, there is no VOA in HK. Your girlfriend should apply for an entry permit to HK in advance. She can apply for a visit type at the embassy of Thailand or apply from HK immigration department direct.
The required documents include her passport and copy of its data page, the application form affixed with a recently-taken bareheaded color photo, proof of financial support, flight itinerary, residence permit in Thailand, and her travel plan to HK.

Dear Amy, my Laos girlfriend who stay with me in Thailand, have only permit to stay everytime 30 days in Thailand. Then she must go to the border and go inside Laos and come back to thailand and can stay again 30 days. For the entry permit to visit Hongkong, she can go then to the embassy in Bangkok?

Eduard, she should try to apply from the Chinese embassy/consulate in Thailand. It takes around a month if her application is transferred to HK Immigration Department. However, if the embassy takes care of her application, then she just needs to wait 4 working days. Actually, she can choose to apply from Laos. But it takes too long, 1 to 2 months.

Dead Amy, you say she must try the Chinese ambassy in Bangkok, but i call the Chinese ambassy in bangkok allready and they say not possible in bangkok, she must go to the Chinese ambassy in Laos
