About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Transit visa on different plane ticket?

Hi,

can I book Seoul to Shanghai on one ticket, do less than 114 hours transit and fly from Shanghai directly to Germany on a different ticket with a different airline? Of course I will buy all tickets before arriving in China. I have a German passport.

Thank you!

Dear, different plane tickets are okay, but the 144 hour free transit policy hasn’t been put into practice yet. So I’m afraid you cannot use it if you transit for longer than 72 hours.
