About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Can the visa be obtained in advance?

Can I get the free entry permit in advance from my local China embassy?
I am not comfortable arriving in a country without an entry permit!
I am staying about 12 hrs in Guangzhou, and will leave the airport to use a hotel.

Hi Nick! It's a pity that you have to apply for the free transit upon arrival. The application process is easy and convenient, just relax! If you want to get one entry permit in advance, you need to apply for a normal tourist L type at the embassy.
