About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ
If I fly into Shanghai airport to board a Cruise ship, does the 72 hours visa free Transit apply?

Hi Ronnie, the 72-hour free transit policy only applies to flight passengers, so I'm afraid you cannot enjoy it.
