visa issue

hi, I am student at a university in Jinzhou, Liaoning China. My wife visited me recently on an S2 type valid for 60 days ( 2 months). my question is if it can be extended when the period ends maybe for an additional 60 days and is there some amount that i have to pay?

Dear, the S2 type can possibly be extended before it expires and it’s possible for your wife to get an extension of 60 days. It costs CNY168.

You should apply for an extension at the exit and entry administration of the local PSB. Your wife should provide the following required documents: her passport, the application form attached with a recent passport-style color photo, valid temporary accommodation registration form, your residence permit, the marriage certificate as well as other documents that the exit and entry administration consider it necessary to hand in.

Dear, it is an authorized department of Chinese public security bureau and it is mainly in charge of the relevant exit and entry things.
