Considering moving to Hengyang

Hello, I've been offered a job in the city. Can anyone tell me more about the city and the expat demographic?

Well, this website provides a lot of information about this city, including its scenic areas, transportation, weather, shopping and local foods. You can make full use of these resources. As I know, most local people are friendly. During the time you stay in there, you can learn some basic mandarin. I believe that you will get along with them very well.

In addition, I cannot find the total number of foreigners in HY. There are about hundreds of foreign people. You can ask help for the Community/Forum of this webiste. Maybe you can find some foreigners who are in this city too. :)

I am a Hengyang local, I don't know much about expat demographic figures, but you can rest assured that people there are very friendly and they love to talk with and help foreigners, expecially Americans. It's not a first-tier city in China though, the majority of youth can speak English.
