China Customs Declaration for whiskey

I want to take 5 bottles of whiskey to China (4.5L in total) for gift to my friends - when I declare this, what is the duty fee for the extra alcohol? Thank You

Sufi, according to the law, you can take 1.5L duty free. So you should pay tax for the other 3L. The tax rate is 50 percent of their original prices. You'd better bring the invoice so that the staff will tax the whiskey according to the invoice.
