You may take line 916 Express from Dongzhimen Station to Huairou North Avenue (Huairou Beidajie) Station for CNY 12 (60-70 minutes). Then, transfer to line h23, h24, h35, or h36 to Mutianyu Roundabout. Afterwards, walk about 500 yards (450 meters) to the ticket office of the scenic area. Also, you may take a minivan to the scenic area from Huairou North Avenue for about CNY 50-60. It is easy. Don't worry.

Well, the distance is about 31 miles (50km). You can visit Ming Tombs afterwards. You may take line h23 from Mutianyu Roundabout to Yujiayuan Station. Next, change to line h54 to Changping Xiguan Station. Then, transfer to line 314 to Dagongmen Station, and walk north to the tombs. If by taxi, it costs about CNY 180-200. Have a great trip! :)
