About:Visa Policy of China

how to obtain a Z visa in PRC

wanted to know which type of entry permit i can enter the PRC with and then later change it into the Z type.
i really need much information about this since i have been able to secure work in PRC but the company says the Chinese government are more stringent in issuing working permit for Ghanaian passport holders more over it is a an English teaching job
Can anyone please help on how to secure an entry permit to enter the PRC for 6 months

Mavis, actually, it’s not that easy to change other types to work Z type in PRC. If possible, you’d better apply for Z type in your home country. You can ask the company to try to apply for the work permit for you.
If it doesn’t work, you can apply for a business M type to enter PRC, but the stay duration cannot be 6 months. And if you enter with an M type, you are not allowed to work in PRC. But it’s possible for you to change M type to Z type.
