About:Beijing Taxi

Taxi fare from Capital Airport to Mutianyu Wall then to Beijing

We will arrive at the airport at 7am and thinking about doing the Great wall first before checking in the hotel. I would like to know the cost of the cab trip. Is it easy to take one and it is ok to leave our luggage with the driver while we are doing the great wall? Or should I book a driver?

Well, most cab drivers won't wait unitl you tour around the Great Wall. So upon landing, you are suggested to hire a private car at the airport directly for a round trip.
You can easily find several car rental companies in T2 and T3.
T2: Central Area, Arrival Hall, 1st Floor
T3: 1st Floor
Generally speaking, the fare is CNY600 or higher for the round trip.

Hey, if you successfully hire a car, you can surely leave your luggage onboard. It is safe enough. No worry! Except that, cabs are not very hard to catch at the airport, because the drivers prefer to have long distance passengers and you can hire one for a round trip too. But they won't charge by the meter. Just negotiate a flat rate and it generally can be CNY400-500. The only reminder is that you may need to queue up at PEK to have a cab.
