About:Taishan Mountain
I'd love to see the sunrise from Mt. Tai.
Are there any hotels/hostels, other accommodation within the scenic area?

Yes, on the top of the mountain, I know two of them: Riguanfeng Hotel and Yingxu Hotel. They have good locations and are great sites to see sunrise. However, it is expensive. During my last trip, both cost CNY700/room/night.1

Just a few more questions. I suppose there are people climbing at night to see the sunrise even in January (which I plan to do soon). Is the ticket office open 24/7? I will travel from Beijing. Is it easy to get from Tai'an speed train stn to Taishan?Any buses going directly to the mountain? I suppose I should start from Hongmen?

1. Yes, the ticket service counter opens for 24/7. So don't worry.
2. The transportation is convenient. From Tai'an Railway Station, take bus no.K37 to get to Hongmen Station. Then walk north around 0.7 miles (1 km) to the entrance of the mount.1
