Mongkok to Diamond Hill to Aberdeen to Victoria Peak to Tsim Sha Tsui

Could someone please tell me if this will work. MRT from Mongkok to Diamond Hill, the MRT to Central or is it Admiralty? then bus 70 to Aberdeen, bus back to Central then bus 15 to Victoria Peak, then the tram down, then ferry to Tsim Sha Tsui. I will start my journey about 10 am, wanting to visit the park and nunnery near Diamond Hill, about an hour in Aberdeen along the waterfront, maybe 30 mins up at the top of vic peak, and hope to be back in Tsum Sha Tsui area for the light show at 8pm.

Are MRT very crowded? Is it usually very difficult to find a seat during the day? The same question for bus?

Thank you for all your help. I have visited Singapore and Japan and managed to get around OK will Hong Kong be similar? Are the locals happy to help visitors out with directions? Is everything well signed in English like will I be able to find the bus stop for Aberdeen when I leave the station. Do I need to know a specific station exit for the journey I am planning.

Your plan is generally doable, but I still wanna make a little change. If going to Aberdeen directly from nunnery, you may take Kwun Tong line and transfer to East Line to Hung Hom Station. Then change to bus no. 107 to Aberdeen Promenade, Aberdeen Praya Road. Walk to Aberdeen directly. To the peak, you need to take no. 70 to Central first and then transfer to no. 15 onto the mountain. Usually, at least 1.5h is needed on the peak, so your 30min is too limited. Do plan well and make your trip worth.

HK is an international destination, which is distinctive from Singapore and Japan to some degree. Due to this, there are many tourists daily, so you may hardly find a seat on MTR unless you depart from the starting point. Locals speak good English and they are friendly to help travlers. Don't worry! In addition, in almost places, the signs are marked both in Chinese and English, so you can easily find your ways.

Thank you, do I then transfer to the east line at Kowloon and does the bus 107 cross the harbour?
How long will it take to travel from the nunnery to aberdeen promenade?
I guess once we are at the peak we wont really be in a hurry to get back as we want to be by the water at 8pm.
Is it possible to buy the tickets for the tram on line to avoid queues? Am I right in assuming a one way on the tram going down would be less of a ticket queue and many people will be buying a return ticket at the base of the peak?

Well, you may take Kwun Tong Line from Diamond Hill Station to Kowloon Tong Station. Next, change to East Rail Line to Hong Hum Station. Then, take bus line 107 to the harbor. It doesn't cross the harbour. The trip from the nunnery to aberdeen promenade takes about 75 minutes, and the fare is HKD 17.3.

Yes, you can buy the tram tickets online at the official website of the peak. You can buy a round trip ticket, which is very convenient. :) I also heard you can avoid queuing up if paying with Octopus Card.
